Sorry, I should've included this...I'm using a 22.1184 MHz crystal, so it looks like I should be fine with counting clocks up to almost 1 MHz.
I'll also add that the strange behavior does not seem to be limited to the counter...I've tried to get the INT0 interrupt to work also, and it will not. Unless I'm crazy, all I have to do is setb EA and setb EX0, and put some code at 0x03 to handle the interrupt. However, I still don't get any interrupt, just my port pin toggling away from my main routine. Drew |
