#80257 - RE: Atmel? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi,
Andy, if it was the question of mine then I would avoid them. But I am just an engineer of the company which has been using Atmel products before I come in. As for now I try to use SiLabs derivatives where it is possible for new products. From other side, when I am noticed by chief that a project requires the Atmel derivative without any "no", then I select chip from limited number of Atmel products only, namely AT89C51CC03 and AT89C51RD2/ED2/ID2. These derivatives have power monitor built-in and seems it works good enough. With other derivatives we had some troubles already discussed here. Regards, Oleg |
