Amtel FREE sample program just suck! ...the web admin send email to me that sample will be shipped out but later their regional supplier said NO, So may it be a problem not of Atmel but your regional supplier? I don`t know about Australian distributors, but here, in Russia, I have requested Atmel`s derivatives some times (last one was about 1 year ago for AT89C51CC03) and chips were delivered to me by local distributor as it was requested.
