Would you really get in such trouble?
I mean, you're not manufactturing illegal products. Your products are your own and you use parts available on free market. Of course the manufacturer could get in trouble and be forced to stop the production (so i.e. your newly designed device can't enter production because the line of microcontrollers it was based on just dried up), but I don't see how using these devices as parts of your design could be illegal?
