#80997 - Off to Hitech C forums.......Next step. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The simple stuff
#pragma asms needed to be converted to _asms. #pragma SRC line had to be removed in lcd_routines.c reg51.h had to be replaced with 8051.h register modifiers had to be removed. i.e register WORD len became WORD len. The rest was just crappy coding and clumsy use of variable declarations. I am amazed that it would compile on any compiler without cleaning up. The ammount of work that they must have put in to write it, and yet not to keep it clean. Though I have noticed striking similarities with about 3 or 4 different source trees for IP stacks. I think that a lot of them are codged together from other peoples code and then branded. Then I am no better in my attempts to use theirs. Thanks to all. Bye for now. |
