#81020 - RE: RS232 between two 8052\\\'s Responding to: ???'s previous message |
yup the chips are on two seperate boards.
Will this work that i connect the ground of first board with the ground of other board. Does this also apply to RS485 network in which i have different boards with AT89c51 and a RS485 chip (i think 74LS176). should i also make their ground common as well. i am trying to setup a RS485 network and it was not working ... i want to make a test that the both chips are actually communicating with each other over RS232. This will conclude that there is some problme with RS485 cabeling Shahzad |
