#8106 - RE: Fuel Injectors |
Yes Matt,
this is realy a problem and i think this is the reason for 42V Batterie system in a modern Car. But i have with two friends modify a Ford Mustang HO from 230 HP to 380 HP and we found the same Problem at 11000 RPM. (special builded crancase) We used also a DC/DC converter up to 35V and do some expiriences but it was no solution ?!? We found the fault in the gasoline system it begans to swing and the pressure was not defined. When the injector opened at lower pressure it was slower. So we installed directly to each injector a resonance absorber. So it breaks the resonance frequency in the gasoline system. (The resonanc is very critical, the injector closed and give a peek on the line....) Sascha |
