Hi Andy,
This time I don't need the distant ranging to track "something" or "anything". What I need is "the data" AND "the ID" of the object in the vicinity. And the optical link is not to be used also. I think I have used the word "proximity" wrongly here. If so then let's change the subject title to "Long range ID sensing". And long range also isn't really LONG, only 5 to 10 ft. would do. Haven't I mentioned RF ID tags, which read the data from the tag's memory. And I have mentioned the likely examples also. So hope that's clear now. Regards Babar |
