So what is the way to use At89S52 with SPI ICs? We need go back to root. If you really need with SPI then just use appropriate derivative. Buy, for example, AT89S53, AT89S8252, AT89C51RD2 etc which have SPI built-in. Indeed, you may try "bit-banging" (emulate protocol in software by manipulating with each signal line manually). But it will come nightmare for you and I see no reason with it, do you? In short: always select derivative which is appropriate for environment requirements. Or vice versa: select external hardware compatible with that your MCU has built-in. Regards, Oleg |
