#82139 - Brownout? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Not always, but some times, when the power components starts, the whole system goes crazy ... I know, this is a EMI/RFI problem Not necessarily: it could just be that the sudden surge in power demand when "power components starts" causes your microntroller's power supply to "droop" out of spec - this is known as a brown-out. You should also search this forum for "brownout." Are you using a proper supervisor circuit, with proper reset generation and a Watchdog? As I've said several times before (do the search), these will not cure an underlying brownout problem, but they will ensure that your whole system does not "go crazy" as a result. Search keywords: "Watchdog" and "Supervisor." Of course, it could even be that you're suffering from both EMI/RFI and brownout...! |
