#82218 - Printers
Responding to: ???'s previous message
If you are planning to control a standard printer that you use with your PC parrallel port it can be contrlled very easily. [ Be sure its not a win printer ].

Similarly for a printer that connects to a PC COM port.

WinPrinter:

HP inkjet printers they have HPCL command set.

Actually, that's PCL - and it's also used by LaserJets, not just ink jets.
In fact, many non-HP printers also emulate PCL.

There's also HPGL - the plotter language; some printers accept this direct.

Some printers accept PostScript.

Note that all printers are different - if you want to support multiple printers, you will need some way to configure your choice.

Search keywords for further research: "graphics" and "printer"
