Hi,

I'm a final year university student and I am finding it difficult to get good information on what USB options are available for 8051 chips. I'm building a simple IR circuit that will eventually replace a remote control and I have already modelled it using a RS232 connected 8031 kit. I'm new to USB standards etc. and wondered if anyone could point me in the best direction.
Essentually the final product will be a cheap dongle to attach to a USB port, that hopefully will draw power from the port as well. Although the project is quite simple it is for a demonstration kit to teach children how computers and signals work.
