If you really want to learn about USB, I recommend "USB Design By Example: A Practical Guide to Building I/O Devices," by John Hyde (ISBN 0970284659). On the other hand, if you want to graduate this year I recommend that you check out the USB to UART advertisement that is on several pages of this very web site. It is probably visible on the left hand column right now (though you may have to scroll down a bit). It is a solution specifically for the problem you have. Good luck. Joe |
