The idea that a 6ms long ISR will give you heaps of trouble is hogwash!! There are plenty of designs where an ISR this long or longer may be perfectly legitimate. There are also plenty of designs where it is way way to long. Thus it is wrong to make the generic blanket statement.
Please don't come back with a pat reply that you said it the way you did because there are too many programmers here that are beginners and thus could not handle a long time duration ISR design. If that was your intent then you should try to spend a little time elaborating on your reasons for certain comments. Michael Karas |
