looking at chips database, it was revealed that many derivatives don't have UART. Some of those are clearly mistakes - they also have zero MIPS and zero IO lines!! But maybe there really are some that don't have a UART. Having said that, it seems bizarre to design-in a chip with no UART when a fundamental part of the application would so obviously benefit from it!! |
