Hi Andy,
PDATA is awkward, if you want to access more than 256 bytes. E.g. I have connected 8kB SRAM and 2 CAN controllers SJA1000 to the 8051. Then the SRAM was accessed as XDATA, but every SJA1000 occupy only 256 bytes, so it was acessed as PDATA. Only P2 must be set to access the 1. or the 2. SJA1000. Peter |
