#82532 - Norm? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I am a bungling windows/WWW user (have never cared much for computers costing more than $10) but with the new forum I lose posts very often. Requiring an operation different from the norm is not really easy to remember, is it? But it isn't different from the norm, is it? The normal result of clicking a link on a page is to leave that page and go on to another. If you leave a post before pressing the 'Post' button, it's not unreasonable to assume that you are just abandoning the post. However, it shouldn't be difficult to have the forum automatically make links "open in new widow" when it automatically makes them clickable... |
