I think Steve is right - a gearbox is needed. Farnell (among others) do gearbox kits if you don't have any Meccano... A cheap electric screwdriver might be better - and they're very cheap these days! Then use a proper voltage regulated supply, and you will have a halfway decent speed control anyway. Steve |
