#82973 - starter/generator |
I'm building a high speed generator from scratch, I need to control it as a motor first, to start an engine, then switch back to generator mode.
The generator is like a brushless DC motor where the rotor is permanent magnets and the stator is fixed. I'm finding very little information on the subject on the internet. I need to use the same electronics for motoring to generating, some thing like 2 or 4 quadrant chopper. Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing? Regards Mahmood |
