I have been reading alot about brushless dc motors, I think I have the knowledge to build one controller either with sensor or sensorless and I can do soft start and minimize the torque ripple, dynamic braking, over and undervoltage protection etc. but I'm not sure about the bidirectional power flow.
I have to select or invent a bidirectional power flow converter topology for the starter/generator.
You have matrix converter, or multilevel converter, back to back PWM VSI converter, Tandem converter, resonance converter etc etc.
I already ordered the magnetic discs but I need to wind the coils by hand or special made machine.
I started my part time studying and work is getting too much, so I don't show here very often.
I phoned you when I was at university in UK in October, and left you a message.
Will be back to uk next april or May for few weeks.
