Hallo Alexander,
if you want to build the 8052AH ELEKTOR project, then you should also have a look at ELEKTOR 2/90. Here it's shown how you can drastically reduce power consumption of board (8052AH draws more than 100mA!) by burning the BASIC-ROM code of 8052AH into an EPROM and using a simple 80C32 instead of 8052AH. Maybe it's even possible to use the same board in combination with a flash derivative... But maybe Steve can offer you some much better stuff than this ELEKTOR project? Kai |
