#83206 - Not so volatile ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Andy,
It is the optimiser's job to remove useless code that simply wastes time and/or code space. No questions there. And Keil does warn about unused functions in the code. These variables are never used within the loops, and never used again outside the loop - an optimising compiler is entitled to spot this and remove the apparently "useless" code. But cntr_1 and cntr_2 variables are very much part of my Delay routine and how do you say they are never used ? In fact even in my earlier post this is what I said went over my head!! Raghu |
