I havem't made any robot's yet, but I have been looking for a Lego Mindstorms Robot Invention System to get some mechanical parts to play with.

I'd like to make a robot that can heal like a dog. This is a lot more complex than just following something. I'm not sure yet what types of sensors would be accurate and fast enough to create a scenery map to use to figure out what it needs to do. A digicam would be fun, but it is too complex to get any depth.

Also, It would be fun to make a hexapod type robot that can draw. This is my 10 year old daughter's idea.

Just some things to do in my non-existant spare time.
