yeah, we were going to use USB, but USB is about $60-$75 per gig, whereas a hard drive is about $4 per gig.

I'm still not sure if the local "computer parts" shop would have connectors for these mini hard drives, they're VERY SMALL (1.8"). i'm going out today, so i'll check with a few, but i had REAL hard time finding those DDK connectors; i think i had to call about 15 different distributors to finally get like 4 samples.
