Maybe instead of the MAILTO: format for registered users, simply allowing it to be changed to a HTTP:// format to their external homepage would be the quick solution? Their homepage could have the MAILTO: tag *IF* they wished or even a FORMS construct to hide their email address. I usually don't post my email addresses because I had one 8052 member include me on all his all-call messages of jokes and chain-letters! It took a year to get him to remove my email from his list... either that or he finally graduated :) aka j |
