Yes we don't want to go so far that we look like AOL. The use of avitars seems too silly for this forum's purpose in my opinion, though we reserve the right to post a bit of silliness now and then. :)

One thing I like about the HTML is that it encourages me to do what Peter the Great has always done here... Link to a homepage wherein he gives a explanation.

One thing I would suggest is that anyone linking to their homepage for further details, immediately provide a jump BACK to the invoking message so we don't end up derailing people from reading all of 8052.com.

I'm working on a offline column linked in the old 166/255*17.5 topic about to roll off. (The other nice thing is I can correct my text when its an offline column. :)
