#84845 - laptop hard drive logic voltage
I have a development board that has a 50 pin interface that can be used for an IDE device. The logic voltage at all the pins is 3V. I would like to connect a laptop hard drive to this interface. I already built an adaptor board that matches up all the pins from the development board to the hard drive ( schematic that was given with the development board)

I've heard mixed things about the logic voltage for a laptop hard drive. I've heard 3V and 5V. My question is this; What is the logic voltage for a laptop hard drive? I've looked for spec sheets for laptop hard drives, but they don't mention this information. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
