#85610 - CAN Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Gopal, CAN is new territory to many of us. The first thing I would do is search out the CAN specification or a good description on CAN - where is this? I would have to search like yourself to find this out. Once I've got the basics of the CAN protocol under my belt I would start to look at the manufacturer's sites for application notes. Slowly, but surely I would begin to get an idea of which way I should go. In my line of work, CAN is of little interest to me, however I dare say I'll have to interface to it one day so I'll have to search. I would bet money that I could find a wealth of information on CAN by using Google in less than 1/2 hour. evidence: search 'CAN specification' time = < 1min http://www.can.bosch.com/docu/can2spec.pdf there's a start. My previous posts gave other places to try. |
