Variant is 89C54X2, and the datasheet specifies
Either a hardware reset or external interrupt can be used to exit from Power Down. So I believe I'm correct in saying if I disable interrupts then the only way back is a reset? I suppose I was considering whether there was any undocumented functions that prevented this (for example, does the PD function automatically re-enable the external interrupts). If I were a chip-designer I might be tempted to put such a feature in to make my chip fool proof (sic). |
