#86596 - Three things that scare me. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Friends,
Though my integrator is working fine but there are still three issues where I need your help. 1. In Kai's circuit he is using C1 "AC Coupling Capacitor" I tried to figure out value of this capacitor and it turns out be somewhere around 360uF for 10 Ohm impedence at 50Hz. The closest easily available capacitors value is 470uF. And these are polarised capacitors. Can someone please help me with the polarity issue. 2. My rogowski output has got spike when thrystor turns on and with higher rate of change of currents these spikes are taller than the integrator supply voltage. Is it a thing to worry I am using TL082. 3. Kai had suggested to use a transzorb but it seems to be not available in local market If you guys lt me know the RS stock number for a suitable one It will be a great help. In the event of connecting a transzorb it may eat up some part of spike and that part wont reach integrator Can this cause any measurement errors. Thanks to Kai and all of you for great help. Thanks & Regards, Prahlad Purohit. |
