I really must explore this web site more thoroughly. I had not realised PC code was also welcome in the library until I read this post. So, I have added my tcl/tk terminal emulator script that allows Linux users to talk to the monitor program included in the New Micros Inc. 8051 SBC products. Note that you may need to be root to access the serial port. It should also run on Windows although I have not tested it.
