Hello. I was kind of interrested in playing around with temperature measurement utilizing infrared or some non-contact method.

I've been searching around on the internet for some sort of direction to start in, but not having much luck. Are there any sensor manufacturers that might have some app notes available? magazine articles? or practically any documented information somewhere to get me started?
