neil thanks so much for your help.. I have spent the past several hour studing check sum... i understand what it is does but am un-sure what i need to do in the 8052 code .. you said
;Do Check SUM AJMP MAINLOOP ; Start over if bad ;CSUM GOOD ; move address and data into R0,R1 ACALL LD_8802; ; repeat for all DACs AJMP MAINLOOP ; Start over how or what do I do to check the csum?. and yes my VB. pgm does send a chksum but I don't know what to do in the 8052 or 8051 code to check it.. thanks Ron. |
