I am not familiar with VC++ but if your computer is running a Windows operating system you can have erratic communications problems. Perhaps you can describe the computer side of the system. Can you try to isolate the problem to the PC or to the 89C51 side?
You can temporarily try using a known good Windows communications program such as HyperTerminal or Procomm and have your 89C51 just echo the data back and see if the problem goes away. Regards, Bert |
