#87973 - increased resolution. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Comes from the fact that in theory at least the auto-correlation of a prbs is a Dirac function, that is its infinetely large and of infinitely short duration,in practice what you get is when the prbs and the matched filter meet you gat a short duration spike at the output when all the stages are filled with a signal which is the time reversal of the filter taps. The maths gets squigly but you can show that this increases the snr by the length of the filter. |
