#8802 - Fast Counter ? |
Hey all,
i will measure a very short dutycycle with an standard 8051 (8252 from Atmel). But the maximum counter frequency is typical 1 MHz or on better chips up to 3 MHz. I need 100 MHz counter frequency ?!? I will cascade the 16 bit counter with an external highspeed counter with 12 bits. The biggest problem is no logic chip works with this frequency. I thing the only way to solve this problem is, to use an PLD or FPGA with enough macrocells. Or any other suggestions ? thanks, Sascha |
