#8804 - to Steve |
Hi Steve,
sorry no chance for me. i have seriously broken my right thumb and cannot go to work for a while, thats also the reason why i do only read here. typing with only the left hand is hard and time consuming. well ,i never had the luck to do this. but some collegues @work worked like me for siemens before for developing medical instrumentations. maybe you remember that i do the hw-development stuff and also all that is necessary to pass the approvals (CE, EMC, Radio, Human Security) this all is now in one big approval called R & TTE. Big changes are. The EN60950 was only needed if you have voltages above 50/75V but now for R & TTE there is no voltage limit, so even battery powered stuff needs to meet EN60950. This is hard as it for examples takes a look at the pcb distances .... and in addition the security for human being is also now part of the approval. hard times .. |
