#88267 - Re: How to map ADC and DAC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thanks for reminding. I have few 8255. But currently not yet start using and the project is due very soon. Well having few 8255's in your box does not make it mandatory to use them. As you told, the situation is now clear. You have to do hardware yet. So at this point make a wise decision by defining the specs. of your required hardware and use the appropriate derivative. Different derivatives are available with ADC and DACs built in. I hope you can explain method of using RAM to ADC and DAC. Which ADC and DAC? The datasheet of ADC/DAC will most probabily tell you some way to interface with microprocessor. When you map ADC and DAC into external RAM space, it would appear just like a memory location. You will read from ADC and store it in RAM (physical RAM). Also you will write to DAC (just like you write to physical RAM). |
