I've seen some posting about IrDA in this forum, and I'm wondering about making a connection from my palm V to some 89c2051 chip without the IrLAP & IrLMP does it possible? Just use the module! I mean, the different between IrDA & the serial are just the pulse width & the media.... I don't know about the Palm programming, but I do know about the 89c2051. you should see the www.tapspring.com, I think they use PIC or some microcontrollers for their security system. Thanks!
