Please explain, why you need such a priority assignment.
Typically higher priority was needed only for fast reaction, e.g. on an external interrupt. But serial and timers are repeated only after a fixed minimal time. And if the time interval was to short to handle every interrupt, then no priority assignment can help. Nevertheless most newer 8051 derivates allow 4 different priorities. Peter |
