Im sorry to have to ask a basic question, i've been in the tutorials
Congratulations on having made the effort of looking at the tutorials before starting. However, you need to familarize yourself with "the bible" as well. "The bible" is the "standard" for all '51 derivatives and most datasheets only list differences from "the bible". While I do not completely understand your question above, I believe a bit of bible time would get you to the answer.
