Do you know if 80x51 uP are good (fast) for a) trigo-math or is better to use b) all-integer algorithms like Bresenham ?
ASSUMING that a) means floating point and b) means fixed point, the answer is easy : FIXED POINT. Generally specking the '51 is NOT "good for math" if you go beyond 8-16 bits of precision. Erik |
