#90080 - external stack Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I dont know about kiel but with sdcc you can opt to use an area of external ram as the stack, obviously this has several disadvantages over using an internal stack because of the processing overhead incurred but thats one option, also you can manipulate the stack pointer is several useful ways under sdcc such as dictating that all data is stored after the end of the stack for example, and there is an option to check wether there is suffiencient stack space during compilation,I havent played with this much so I don't know how well this particular feature works. |
