#90217 - tight SRAM - use C
Responding to: ???'s previous message
If you are tight on SRAM, maybe switching to C can be the solution.

Because the C compiler and linker can overlay local variables much better as any human can do it in assembler.

After I switched to C I have less SRAM problems as on former assembler days.

On my experience "dirty hacks" are often the result of bad planning.
Good planning may cost up to 30% of the whole development time but it is worth this price.
Good planning means also modular programming (divide and conquer).
