Yes I have been reading about ISP and IAP recently but the controller I mentioned above (P89c52x2) does not have IAP capability as I did pointed out. Let me rephrase the question so that the first doubt in my mind can be cleared:
If I have to program a microcontroller (say P89c52x2) that satisfies all it's memory requirements internally, can I retain variable datas between power-on resets? If I use RTCs like DS1307 won't I require a battery backup? As for the other products I was talking about tommorrow I'll give a list of all the ICs that they have used. May be that will help. |
