Sanjeev: Is the question why your reply created a new thread as opposed to being added to the previous thread?
If so, I don't know why. I've seen this happen occasionally and so far I haven't been able to figure out how it happens. It shouldn't be a cookie problem since the thread continuity in new posts is handled via FORMs that are submitted when you post, not via cookies. I'll try to look at that soon. I also hope to give Steve Taylor and myself the ability to easily merge a new thread with a previous once precisely for cases such as these. Craig Steiner |
