#90425 - ks0108 instruction set question
Can anyone familiar with the KS0108 graphical LCD controller tell me what the difference is between these two instructions:

I understand that the Set Y Address specifies which column the data byte will be written to, but what exactly does the display start line instruction do?

Also, I'm can someone explain the function of the RESET pin to me. All the data sheet says is:
"Setting the RES signal to Low can initialize the following registers.
1. ON/OFF register 0 set(Display off)
2. Display start line register 0 set(display starts from line 0)
After releasing reset, this condition can only be changed by software."

And is this RESET pin the same as the RS pin in the datasheet?
