In particular, the one about detailed design seems to me to blur the boundary between detailed design and production engineering and makes no mention of involving manufacturing personnel - a grave ommissiion IMHO. The brainstroming paper quickly passes from idea generation on to ranking etc when in practice the managment of the process of generating ideas is the most inportant. Ian |
