#9056 - RE: Read Port Latch ? |
Hi Sascha,
I'm very interest, why you want to know the state of the port latch. The only reason I know, was to save P2 during external access on interrupts. In all other cases a single pin can be changed with SETB, CPL or CLR and some pins can be changed with ANL, ORL, XRL without any influence to the other pins of the same port. So I have sleepless nights to understand, why reading the latch was so important for you. Peter |
