That quote reminds me of the C++ code of someone who generally measured people's programming ability by their ability to turn what would generally be 5 or 6 lines of C++ code into 1. Never mind that whether the code is expressed in 1 line or 6 lines, it is optimized at compile-time to the same code. But which is easier to read? :)
